Somos una asociación que se dedica de forma voluntaria, y gracias a las aportaciones de socios y colaboradores, a ayudar a la mayor cantidad de animales que diariamente son abandonados en Valencia y alrededores. Los gastos son muchos, ya que parte de los animales a los que acogemos precisan de tratamientos veterinarios debido al estado en el que los recogemos. Every year, 7,000 birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians (almost twenty animals per day on average) are admitted to GREFA's Wildlife Hospital in Majadahonda (Madrid), to be treated for a wide range of injuries or pathologies. The priority of our veterinarians and wildlife rehabilitators, assisted by GREFA's volunteers, is to return these animals to their natural habitat once they have reached ideal conditions for life in the wild.
