We have started a new project to support talibé children through the work carried out by a Guinean NGO with which we collaborate, AMIC. The idea of this group is to raise funds to repatriate and care for as many Talibé children as possible. In other words, the children receive psychological, medical and social assistance to guarantee their return to a life surrounded by their family. Solidarias de Corazón is a non-profit association that focuses its efforts on international cooperation with Senegal. In Senegal there are around 50,000 talibé children. These are given by their parents to live in Koranic schools, but most of them are forced to beg and beg on the street. This is why the main objective of Solidarias de Corazón is to create and support projects that work for the rights and values of children and youth.

Somos una ONG que empezó ayudando a familias desfavorecidas de las zonas rurales de África y actualmente está centrada en trabajar para mejorar las condiciones de vida de los niños talibés en Senegal, más concretamente en la región de Saly, proporcionando atención médica y nutricional, actividades educativas y recreativas, y promoviendo la sensibilización y la protección de los derechos de los niños. The Dundu Senegal association was created in December 2023. It initially supported 35 talibé children between 4 and 17 years old in the village of Foundiougne, Senegal. Talibé children are permanently sent to Koranic schools from the age of 4 until after the age of 17 due to their families' lack of resources. During this time they do not maintain any contact with their families. They lack quality of life and remain in environments of social exclusion.
