"I’m Amelie, 32 years old and mother of 5 children. We live in a modest home in Kinshasa, and I’m now expecting my 6th baby. I dream of having a boy, but I place everything in God’s hands. Thanks to the Amigos de Monkole Foundation, I’ve been able to safely welcome each of my children. We survive on what I sell in the streets and from growing vegetables; many days I feed my family with only €1 or €2". The Foundation wants to reach more women like me: in Kinshasa, even €1 can work miracles.
