RESCATE DE CAMADAS INDESEADAS, muchas de ellas abandonadas a su suerte, y con necesidad de salir adelante cada 3 horas con biberón. Muchas de las camadas son encontradas en contenedores de basura, en ríos, en mitad de alguna campa porque alli "ya se buscarán la vida"...toda esta irresponsabilidad se arregla mediante esterilización de las gatas adultas, uno de los objetivos de AMIGAT

AMIGAT es una asociación cántabra formada por voluntarios que rescata gatos callejeros, los acoge y cuida para entregar posteriormente en adopción. También esteriliza colonias callejeras con el programa CER (CAPTURA - ESTERILIZACIÓN - RETORNO) para paliar el problema de superpoblación felina que existe en Cantabria, donde cada día nacen muchos cachorros cuyo destino en la calle es morir envenenados, atropellados, enfermos, etc.

Our senior cats are often the most forgotten. These elderly cats greet us with affection every day, unaware that their greatest dream is to find a family to spend the rest of their days with. While that dream remains unfulfilled, at AMIGAT we ensure they receive care, proper nutrition, veterinary checkups, and plenty of love.
