We dedicate our efforts to improve the life of stray cats, saving, recovering and finding a home for them, giving them the opportunity for a dignified life. We operate within our homes and give a temporary home to cats in distress until they have a suit of their own. We do not have any kind of help from public bodies. we work only thanks to our strength and the help of wonderful people who support us!

Everyday a group of special volunteers dedicates time, energies and so much love to 250 cats in the city of Catania. Many are free in their habitat, which is our large Cat Sanctuary, others are fostered in our shelter and our homes. Without any kind of economic help by pubblic Institutions, we carry on thanks to the wonderful support of our adopters and of those who know our work and really wants to help cats. Come and meet them! Donate for them!

My name's Eleonora, I live in Italy (precisely in a city near Rome called Rieti) and since 2020 I take care of seven stray cats that I spayed and neutered. I started to rescue strays, cure and socialize them and finally find them a forever home. Welcome to Team Rifugio Valentina! Our association was unofficially founded in 2022 and officially in 2024. In three years, we have rescued dozens (if not hundreds) of cats, building a cosy shelter equipped with everything they need to live their best lives. We currently house 61 cats, some looking for adoption and others now permanent residents of the shelter. By contributing just one euro, you too can make a difference!

Siamo studentesse universitarie e impieghiamo il nostro tempo libero, a prenderci cura di 16 gatti che vivono con noi nel nostro giardino.
