We are a small but very strong-willed team, which made it its mission to take care of the forgotten and abandoned dogs of the streets and garbage dump of the city of Bihac in the northwest of Bosnia, to alleviate their suffering and above all to show them that not all people are bad, and that their fate does not leave us unaffected.

As per Guinnes Book of World Rekords the Smeura is bearing the mournful title of being the biggest animal shelter of the world. Around 5400 dogs and 600 puppies need around 2.7 tonnes food per day. The staff members are doing an inconceivable job - organizationally, physically and emotionally. Driving around with a castration van and pushing the clearing up of the locals. Every euro is needed. The "Pferdegnadenhof Edelweiss" is a small sanctuary which is looked after by a handful of active members who are 100% volunteers. A total of 120 animals…. Horses, ponies, donkeys, cows, pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, cats and dogs, deported, abused or saved from slaughter, spend the rest of their lives here in the great outdoors. The farm is financed purely from donations and without any support from the public sector.

Ich habe eigene Hunde in Rumänien. Ich habe den §11 in Deutschland und Traces zur Einfuhr und Vermittlung von Auslandshunden aus Rumänien. Die meisten Hunde sind aus Tötungen und wurden kurz vor 12 Uhr von mir gerettet. Ich habe sehr gute Kontakte nach Rumänien seit 5 Jahren. Alles Leute, denen ich wirklich zu 100 % vertraue. Unter anderem haben drei Freundinnen eine Klinik und die andere arbeitet in einer. Wer meine Hunde unterstützen mag - gern <3

Our "Hund sucht Hütte e.V." team rescues dogs from Croatia and takes care of them until we have found the perfect home for them. Our dogs are mainly street dogs, abandoned dogs, non-wanted puppies, mostly, neglected and abused. We collect money to provide these dogs with a roof over their heads, to feed them and to take care of them medically until they've found their forever homes.

ProDogRomania ist ein eingetragener Verein, der sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat, Leben und Lebensqualität der Hunde in Rumänien (Baile Herculane und Ploiesti) zu schützen. Die Tierhilfe FEliciTA e.V. ist ein gemeinnütziger Verein, welcher sich um verwaiste, ausgesetzte und kranke Tiere kümmert. Das Team versorgt diese Tiere, pflegt sie gesund und vermittelt Sie an ihr „Für Immer zu Hause“ weiter. Nicht vermittelbare Tiere dürfen in der FEliciTA Familie bleiben und dürfen dort Ihren Lebensabend genießen.
