The School-Workshop of the Municipality of Zacatecoluca (El Salvador), offers occupational training to young people at risk of social exclusion who live in communities with high rates of violence. Using service-learning as the basis of their training, while learning a trade, young people contribute to improving their communities with small transformative actions. Thanks to your support, IESDB contributes to the sustainability of this school and favours the social inclusion of these people.

El Centro de la Fotografía de la Fundación Latitudes, con el apoyo del IESDB, documenta la realidad sobre los conflictos sociales y la violencia en El Salvador, y desde un enfoque de seguridad humana, genera muestras fotográficas que recorren diferentes países de América Latina y España. El objetivo, sensibilizar a través de la imagen, sobre la vulneración de derechos, la injusticia y la desigualdad en América Latina, que componen la base de la violencia social y la inseguridad humana.
