IACAWA is a charitable animal welfare organisation located in Klosterneuburg. For us, animal protection is a matter of heart. This is why we engage in various animal-welfare programmes in Europe with the goal of providing animals on site to live in safety and to guarantee them basic supplies (food, a dry and warm place to sleep, medical care) at local carestations. This is the bases needed for an onward journey to a loving home.
Die IACAWA Carestations in Serbien beherbergen Straßenhund-Findlinge, die verletzt, verunfallt, krank oder verwaist aufgefunden wurden und nun gesund gepflegt, versorgt und betreut werden bis sie bei liebevollen Menschen einen Lebensplatz finden. Jede Carestation wird von einer sorgfältig ausgewählten Familie vor Ort geführt und beherbergt maximal 10-12 Hunde, die hier die erste Station haben und somit auch die erste Sozialisierung erfahren auf ihrem Weg ins Glück, dem Leben in Geborgenheit in einer Kleinfamilie. MIt den Spenden finanzieren wir Futter, medizinische Versorgung und die Betreuungskosten vor Ort.
