Although mainly we are dedicated to the recovery of greyhounds, currently in our refuge live more than 700 animals...

For more than 30 years, Scooby has been providing shelter to abandoned and mistreated animals. In the 90's we brought to light the atrocities inflicted on galgos (Spanish greyhounds). At present, we are the biggest shelter in Spain, currently homing more than 1000 dogs and cats and 200 farm animals. Our resources are very limited and we depend mainly on the donations. GINN is an organization of volunteers who oppose neglect and abuse of Galgos in Spain and Greyhounds in Ireland. We deliver supplies, medicines and financial support to the Spanish and Irish shelters. Mediation in the adoption of Galgos, Greyhounds and Lurchers, events and publications to highlight the horrific abuses. A rescue and rehoming sanctuary for abused, neglected and abandoned Galgos and Podencas in Malaga, Spain. Entirely voluntary funded, this charity has saved the lives of many Galgos left to die on the streets. All our dogs are vaccinated, neutered, and rehabilitated before we place them in forever homes. ARCA Sevilla (Asoc. for the Respect and Care of Animals in Seville) helps hundreds of animals every year that pass through our shelter. Puntanimals is a non-profit association, created in 2011to help abandoned and maltreated animals. Our facility which is a rented warehouse arranged into kennels is located in the village of Punta Umbria, near Huelva , in Andalucia, south-eastern Spain .
