Madretierra is an environmental organisation dedicated to the study and conservation of species and ecosystems in southern Spain. Our goal is to create a concerted nature reserve for the common chameleon and other species in Málaga, supporting existing public recovery centres. Hi, I'm Helena, founder of Madretierra. In Andalusia, public Wildlife Recovery Centres can only take in threatened species. As a registered collaborating organisation, we care for native wildlife they cannot attend to. Every week we receive orphaned chicks that need feeding several times a day, with tweezers and live insects. We spend €100 a week on food alone. With your euro you help rescue and rehabilitate wildlife in Málaga. Just €1 a month.

Wir sind ein junger Verein aus Badajoz, der sich für die UMWELT einsetzt. Wir führen Umweltbildungsaktivitäten, wissenschaftliche Forschungen durch, um den Status bedrohter Arten zu ermitteln, und Maßnahmen zum Schutz der Biodiversität. Wir führen derzeit ein Umweltbildungsprojekt in Extremadura durch und arbeiten in einem multidisziplinären Projekt zum Schutz von Mikro-Feuchtgebieten, BIOASIS DEL SUR, mit anderen Naturschutzverbänden aus dem Rest der Halbinsel zusammen.
