As per Guinnes Book of World Rekords the Smeura is bearing the mournful title of being the biggest animal shelter of the world. Around 5400 dogs and 600 puppies need around 2.7 tonnes food per day. The staff members are doing an inconceivable job - organizationally, physically and emotionally. Driving around with a castration van and pushing the clearing up of the locals. Every euro is needed. A Savethedogsbih é uma organização sem fins lucrativos na Bósnia. Resgatamos cães que foram abandonados, maltratados e acorrentados. Há mais de 6 anos que o fundador, Bruno Jelovic, e a sua equipa têm vindo a cuidar de mais de 1000 cães. Os nossos cães não são mantidos em canis, mas vivem nas nossas quintas, onde podem simplesmente ser cães. Estamos empenhados em crescer e pretendemos construir mais quintas para acolher mais cães.

Furry Luck Bali is a non-profit organization dedicated with heart and passion to protecting and caring for animals in Bali. Wir, der Verein „ein Herz für Hunde“ kämpft gegen die traurige Lage auf der Deponie in Bihac in Bosnien. Hunderte Strassenhunde benötigen dort täglich Futter und Wasser. Neben der täglichen Angst zu verhungern, kommt natürlich auch das ständige Leben in Angst dazu. Da dies in einer Dimension stattfindet, die wir ohne fremde Hilfe nicht stemmen können, benötigen wir immer wieder Menschen mit Herz die uns helfen und spenden möchten.
