Vulnerable people affected by wars or disasters

At the Square Foundation, we develop our own impact methodology for emergency situations (wars and natural disasters) and assistance to vulnerable populations, based on innovation, efficiency, agility, and collaboration. We obtain surplus food and humanitarian aid and deliver it to those most in need, thus combating hunger and food waste. We have distributed more than 30 million food rations in more than 40 countries, with the help of more than 150 donor companies and 480 social organizations. We began distributing food to orphanages in Namibia and during the earthquakes in Indonesia, but after the success achieved in Spain during the pandemic and the La Palma Volcano, the project expanded to five continents, with a significant presence in the floods in Honduras and Libya, the wars in Ukraine, Syria, and Gaza, and the earthquakes in Turkey, Ecuador, and Morocco.
