Gli Amici di Pisolo ODV

Gli Amici di Pisolo ODV is a voluntary association that aims to help the poor stray dogs in our territory. We are located in Basilicata (in the south of Italy) in the small village of Forenza, where the reality of stray dogs is an everyday presence. Today we are taking care of over 90 fur-friends, including puppies, adults and grannies. This can only happen thanks to the long-distance support of our benefactors.

Rifugio gli Amici di Pisolo

The shelter spends €800 per month on basic kibble, plus an additional €200 for specialized food. We have decided to allocate the Teamers' funds specifically for this food, essential for dogs with special needs: renal food for those with kidney issues (like Grandpa Peppino!), puppy food (€40-50 per month) during peak puppy abandonment seasons, and light, hydrolyzed, and urinary food for new emergency arrivals. Currently, we can cover almost 50% of these expenses. Thanks to you, the dogs can follow a proper diet that helps prevent specific diseases or health issues. With the current number of members, we will withdraw the funds every six months to fully cover two and a half months of these expenses. Every month, we publish a donation report in our Facebook group to ensure clarity and transparency. The funds collected through Teaming will be included in this report whenever we withdraw them. BUON COMPLEANNO AL RIFUGIO AMICI DI PISOLO!!

In questo periodo le giornate sono pienissime tra nuovi recuperi e cura dei poveri cagnolini malati.
Siamo solo in due, Fabrizia e Vincenzo, e arriviamo a sera distrutti ma non potevamo non ricordare questo importante anniversario: 10 ANNI del rifugio Gli Amici Di Pisolo!!
Un piccolo brindisi per celebrare questo traguardo.
Pensate: circa 400 cani dati in adozione, cani sul territorio seguiti e curati, sterilizzazioni e infine accudimento degli "invisibili" qui in rifugio. Come abbiamo fatto non lo so, certo senza il vostro aiuto tutto questo sarebbe stato impossibile!
Grazie a tutte le persone che nel corso di questi anni, ognuno in modo diverso, ci ha teso una zampa. <3

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO "GLI AMICI DI PISOLO” SHELTER!!

These days have been incredibly busy with new rescues and caring for poor sick dogs.
There are only two of us, Fabrizia and Vincenzo, and we end each day exhausted—but we couldn’t let this important anniversary go by without mention: 10 YEARS of the “Gli Amici Di Pisolo” shelter!!
A small toast to celebrate this milestone.
Just think: around 400 dogs adopted, dogs cared for and monitored in the area, spaying and neutering efforts, and finally, looking after the "invisible ones" here at the shelter.
How we managed it, I don’t know, what’s certain is that without your help, none of this would have been possible!
Thank you to everyone who, over the years, in their own way, has lent us a paw. <3
