Group created to give a fast and effective first help to Bodegueros who are abandoned in the streets of Spain in extreme conditions or locked in local dog pounds risking to be euthanized. We rescue them, pay the dog pound’s fees, take them to the vet, pay for residence and transport and we look for foster homes and associations who can shelter them until they find a forever home.

We are the Protective Association, which rescues and cares for cats, dogs and other abandoned animals in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Mira-sol, La Floresta, Valldoreix and Les Planes. The Cau Amic is their refuge. We love them, walk them, care for them and re-educate them so they can have a second chance at a good family. Caldes Animal struggles to improve the well-being of abandoned animals when the number of abandonment seems to increase and society seems to not want to assume responsibility for animal defense. Every year, the unprotected dogs and cats protect themselves with wounds and problems of socialization for ill-treatment.
