We are the Pyrenees Zoo Foundation, the biggest wildlife refuge in Catalonia. Every year we rescue hundreds of injured or orphaned animals; some return to the wild, but others need to stay with us forever. We currently care more than 290 residents, and your help guarantees the daily food they need to live healthily and comfortably. Anita tenía 2 años cuando le diagnosticaron cáncer. Desgraciadamente no pudo superarlo, después de casi 4 años continuos de tratamientos, la falta de investigaciones sobre su tumor y por tanto de tratamientos efectivos para curarla se la llevaron para siempre. Necesitamos abrir investigaciones específicas para los niñ@s, es la única manera de curarlos. Somos una asociación dedicada a la protección, visibilización y cuidado de las aves urbanas, en especial de vencejos, aviones y golondrinas. Nuestro trabajo abarca la denuncia de podas de árboles en época de cría y la destrucción de nidos; la cría y el asesoramiento de pollos huérfanos y aves enfermas o heridas; y la presión a las administraciones para que cumplan las leyes medioambientales.

We are a non-profit NGO funded by donations. We focus on rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing sanctuary for birds. We handle around 2,000 inquiries and release an average of 250 birds annually. Many come from seizures, trafficking, abuse, and abandonment, and we give them a second chance. Caldes Animal struggles to improve the well-being of abandoned animals when the number of abandonment seems to increase and society seems to not want to assume responsibility for animal defense. Every year, the unprotected dogs and cats protect themselves with wounds and problems of socialization for ill-treatment. We take care of them and put all our human heat in finding a new home for all of them. Help us to help them!
