Happy chickens in Santuritos

In Santuritos, the chickens found refuge after fleeing danger on neighboring farms. Here they live without fear of predators, with food, love, and security. Many are older and need a quiet coop, away from harassment from younger ones. With your help, we can care for them the way they deserve. Improve the resting and feeding area of the Santuritos hens

We want to improve their space so they have a family rest area, green areas for them to peck, a relaxation area with sand and other materials so their romping around will help keep unwanted guests away. We also want to add a bathing area for their feet because these types of chickens suffer so much that they even lose their toes. In the photos, I show examples of what we want to do in the coop.

✨ ¡Nuevos ponederos en Santuritos!

Gracias al apoyo de esta gran familia, nuestras gallinas ya disfrutan de nuevos ponederos.
Lo mejor de todo: están hechos con material reciclado .
Cajas del s’hort de Llucmajor, césped retirado del campo de fútbol y bridas reutilizadas.

Un ejemplo más de que con ingenio y cariño se pueden crear espacios cómodos, seguros y sostenibles para ellas.
Ahora nuestras gallinas ponen sus huevos tranquilas, sin peleas y con mucha más dignidad.
