Galgos Rescue Almeria (GRA) is een kleine shelter die zich vooral bekommerd om het lot van galgos en podencos.Deze rassen worden door de Spaanse overheid totaal niet beschermd daar ze gebruikt, zeg maar gerust misbruikt, worden voor de jacht en eigenlijk aanzien worden als een werktuig.Uiteraard sluiten we de ogen niet voor andere rassen/dieren in nood, en zetten wij ook voor hen ons hart en deuren open.

For the past ten years, our intake area has been the place where every new arrival takes their first steps toward a better life. Sadly, this area is no longer fit for purpose. The current intake area does not provide adequate safety or protection from the sun, rain, and other weather conditions. The dogs arriving at our shelter—often exhausted, frightened, and traumatized—deserve a calm, safe, and comfortable environment where they can begin to recover. Our goal is to create a safe, sheltered, and functional space where every new resident receives the care, comfort, and peace they need from their very first day To make this project a reality, we need €25,000.

This rescue takes a lot of abandoned dogs of the streets we need to help them with huge vetbills to continue their help to these poor souls out in the fields without their help they will die alone with nothing in this area lots of podenco’s and galgos are in deperate situations so please joon this teaming group❤️
