Throughout our history, we have been able to find new homes for most of the dogs we have cared for. We strive to: Identify animals with microchip, raise awareness and educate owners for responsible ownership. Encourage adoptions and fostering. Offer, while the animals are in foster care, welfare beyond food and health care. To offer a permanent foster home to older and/or sick dogs

Since 2013, we have achieved the adoption of most of the dogs that entered the La Oliva shelter and we have prevented them from being euthanized. Although since the end of 2023, the company Gesplan is running the shelter, we continue to help the dogs and other associations on the island. Our plan is to educate the next generation about responsible dog ownership and to raise awareness about the huge dog overpopulation problem we are experiencing worldwide. Our main objectives are: - Find foster homes and/or adopters - Reduce the number of litters of puppies by neutering dogs that come up for adoption - Prevent abandonment through awareness campaigns and recommending alternative ways and solutions - Encourage the identification of dogs by microchipping - Give visibility to dogs and promote animal welfare - Offer permanent foster homes to older and/or sick dogs.

mil gracias a todos los que aportan su granito - juntos somos más fuertes!!
Seguimos ayudando a los perros abandonados en la isla.
Actualmente (mayo 2025), tenemos 11 perros en acogida permanente donde pagamos todos los gastos veterinarios y 2 en guardería esperando su oportunidad.
Además, ayudamos con algunos gastos veterinarios y adopciones de otras Asociaciones.
