The workers of the Freixenet Group have come together to raise funds for different causes of solidarity that we will be deciding annually. Since 2009, we have collaborated the Food Bank, AFANOC, ARRELS, etc. With this platform we want to continue collaborating with different entities in any field. In Catalonia, one in two men and one in three women will have cancer at some point in their lives. Many of us have already been through it or have a friend or family member who has. Although thanks to research, much progress has been made in the survival of those affected, the incidence tends to increase, partly due to the increase in the life expectancy of the population, but more and more cases are also being detected in younger groups, due to alterations in lifestyle habits. Cancer research is essential to better understand the molecular mechanisms that cause the disease, its spread and the development of resistance to therapy. For this reason, this year we have decided to contribute everything we have collected in Teaming to the TV3 Marathon dedicated to cancer.
