8 November: It's official! Break dance classes have started. Every other Sunday the kids will have an hour of class with a teacher that will show them Break Dance steps and they will create a choreography that the kids will end up performing by the time they are ready.

3 November: One of our volunteers had been working in an NGO and Madagascar. We thought it could be interesting for the kids to start a letter-exchange with children living in such a different and far away country. The letters finally got to Madagascar! The kids are so excited to get the answers to all the questions they wrote to their pen-friends... We can't wait!

31 November: Halloween Party: Although it isn’t part of Moldova’s tradition, the kids really enjoyed this party. For one week they were creating and preparing all types of costumes and decorations. And finally after all that work… we had a very scary night!!

10 October: Roller-skating excursion: Roller-skates on and let’s get it started! After rolling up and down and playing with other kids -and, must say, falling over a few times- they were able to eat some Pizza!! (doesn’t happen very often). We also had the collaboration of two new members in the team -two teen agers, one of them used to live in the house- that the kids enjoied being with very much.

26 September: First excursion, kids were so excited! Even getting on the trolleybus was a different experience. We went to an open-air theatre and to the park. It was a beautiful sunny day and for our surprise all the kid’s school mates were at the theatre too so for the first time they were able to interact with them outside of school :)

31 August: we celebrated the Romanian Language National Day (Limba nostra). We carried out several activities to encourage team-work and helping each other. We also enjoyed some different food for this special day!!
