TANAMERA Hunting Dog Rescue

It’s almost Christmas. A time where our pets are happy, but hunting dogs are not. Life at the hunter’s is cold and dark. The abuse and fear never stop. Tanamera takes dogs from the street, from perreras, but also from hunters. We make a difference every day. Thanks for your monthly support. Without funds (we have no government funding etc) we would be unable to do what we do. For those who need it the most. Merry Christmas!

Found IN the bins with swimmers syndrome, this girl has no future. She could not walk and was left to die. But we refused to give up on her. Many many vet visits, fysio, lots of training and massages. Orphan Annie is now 6 months, and walks! She even runs, and jumps! She is happy as any other puppy. YOU made this happen by supporting Tanamera Rescue. Thank you!

Just a little update! All our kennels are full and no more space at the inn. But all dogs are good, healthy and happy. Couple of adoptions pending which will make spacs for new dogs. End of the hunting season is near so we will need the space, and money. Thanks for your support!

At the moment TANAMERA cares for 27 dogs, of which 20 podencos and 4 galgos. We are totally non profit and run by volunteers only. Because of the amount of work that goes into rehabilitating and caring for our dogs, we don’t often put updates on Teaming. Please see updates and news on our facebook page.
