Since we built our rescue kennels at our own expense of over 60,000€, on land leased by the local council, the council has reclaimed the land to use as their local dog pound, without compensation and left us having to rent kennels for our own dogs. We are at present raising funds to buy our own premises where we can keep our rescue animals securely. We still continue rescuing and rehoming dogs, last year we rehomed 50 dogs, but with rental , our costs are high. We have saved and raised money towards this project, but still have a deficit of 50,000€.
