Lav Rovigo per Willy Banzai - toro salvato dal macello

Since 1977 LAV (Lega Anti Vivisezione) fights for animal rights and it is against every violence, hunting, fishing, specism, abuse, and exploitation of every living being (or creature). LAV also defends environment and it is another important mission of this historical no-profit association.

There are 40 LAV headquarters all over Italy and everyday we devote all our love and care to animals: we rescue animals from every kind of mistreatment, abandonment, neglicence and we do all that we can to make them health and happy again.

LAV in Rovigo city is a little headquarter but with full-hearted volunteers who made the impossible to save Willy's life.

Willy was a little calf breeded for his meat, so he was destined to the slaughter-house. One day in November 2014 he escaped by a window of the stable where he lived. He survived for more than a month hidden in the woods from the humans during the day and roaming looking for food by night. But the little bull in December was catched and took to the slaughter-house once again.

All we volunteers wanted Willy save and free, so with a big economic effort we finally rescued him!

Since that day Willy lives in a paddock in an animal-sanctuary and he is loved by all volunteers. Willy's best friends are a wild boar herd and he will stay in his new home for the rest of his life.

But Willy's maintenance is not for free, it has a cost, so we are asking a little help to you all so Willy will always be free and happy in his forever home.
