Verdes Pastos

Hace unos días tuvimos una reunión del comité donde agradecimos a Dios por la oportunidad que ahora tiene David de comprometerse a tiempo completo con la obra de Dios, trabajando con la misión Acre International. El lento desarrollo de Verdes Pastos por falta de tiempo había sido nuestra preocupación y oración exacta, ¡y hemos recibido una respuesta muy directa!
En estos días estamos enviando una carta a todas las iglesias de las Islas Canarias para concretar reuniones con los líderes, informar a la gente sobre nuestro proyecto y cómo pueden involucrarse. Queremos que conozcan la necesidad (aunque muchos ya lo saben) y cómo planeamos servirles a ellos y a sus jóvenes. Por favor oren:
- Para que Dios provea nuestras necesidades y los fondos necesarios para adquirir una propiedad adecuada.
- Por las reuniones que tendremos con los líderes, para que Él esté en el centro de todas nuestras conversaciones.
- Para apoyarnos en la verdad de que esta es la obra de Dios, no la nuestra.

ENGLISH:
We had a committee meeting a few days ago where we thanked God for the opportunity David now has to commit himself full time to God’s work, working for the Acre International mission from Northern Ireland. The slow development of Verdes Pastos because of a lack of time had been our exact concern and prayer and we have received such a direct answer!
In these days we are sending out a letter to all the churches in the Canary Islands to concrete meetings with the leaders to inform the people about our project and how they can be involved. We want them to know the need (although many already do) and how we plan to serve them and their young people. - That God will provide our needs and the funds necessary to purchase a suitable property
- For the meetings we will have with leaders, that He will be in the center of all our conversations
- For leaning on the truth that this is God’s work, not ours.
