City of Jerez Abolitionist Forum

The first City of Jerez Abolitionist Forum, held in observance of the International Day Against Sexual Exploitation and as part of the activities commemorating November 25—the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls. This event, aims to become a benchmark in our city, seeks to position the province as a key hub within the abolitionist movement.

Support the Jerez City Abolitionist Forum. This event, which aspires to become a benchmark, seeks to position Jerez as a key point in the abolitionist movement. This forum is funded by contributions from members and friends of the association. AFRA Mujeres is a non-profit organization that does not receive state subsidies. Therefore, we rely solely on your support to fight for the human rights of women and girls, for a more just and equal society. In 2025, we will hold the 1st Forum, and in 2026, we will hold the 2nd Jerez City Abolitionist Forum. It will take place on September 18th at 4:00 PM at the Women's Center of the Jerez City Hall. ♀ El abolicionismo tiene ciudad. Tiene fecha. Tiene nombre.
El 18 de septiembre Jerez acoge el II Foro Abolicionista Ciudad de Jerez, un espacio de análisis, debate y acción feminista que consolida a nuestra ciudad como referencia del movimiento abolicionista en el sur de España.
Este año el Foro aborda de frente el desarrollo de la futura Ordenanza Municipal contra la prostitución y la trata en Jerez, con la participación de la Delegación de Igualdad, la propuesta de Ordenanza Municipal Tipo impulsada desde la PAP, y la intervención de Pilar Aguilar, presidenta de Feministas al Congreso. El encuentro culmina con un espacio de poesía y música en vivo como acto de resistencia y memoria colectiva.
Nada de esto ocurre sin quienes lo sostienen. Vosotras sois parte de eso.
