La Tanière takes in wild and exotic animals that have been injured by life. This “Noah's Ark” offers a second chance to animals in distress by taking them in, sheltering them, caring for them, rehabilitating them, and protecting them. Since its creation and thanks to the support of its donors, La Tanière has saved more than 4500 animals, performed more than 2000 medical procedures, rehomed 3350 animals, and now has nearly 600 residents representing around 100 different species.
Born out of the urgent need to respond to animal suffering, La Tanière is a refuge, a place of care, a place to live or end their lives for animals rescued from abuse, trafficking, the entertainment industry, laboratories, or those with no other place to go. In this setting designed for their physical and psychological rehabilitation, everything is done to enable them to recover the best possible health, dignity, peace, and their animal nature. From the smallest to the largest, we care for all these animals without relentlessness and place those who can be placed in other structures that share our values and ethics. We offer the others a peaceful retirement. Thanks to your donations, we are able to carry out our rescue missions and provide tailor-made care to these animals in need, regardless of their age, sex, species, or state of health. Nous avons recueilli deux nouveaux servals, Jul et Khabib, issus de détention illégale.
Ils ont tous les deux passé des scanners. Nous avons opéré Jul suite à une fracture de la patte. Nous avons également stérilisé Khabib.
