WHY is a former stray dog. Her mother was rescued heavily pregnant in Campania in 2018, and WHY found a loving home in December 2018. Her wish: that all her friends can also be rescued and find a family. Her mission: to alleviate the suffering of stray dogs in southern Italy through emergency aid and long-term projects. Italy is often overlooked in animal welfare, but WHY wants to change that. Join her mission – together, we can make a difference!

Animal welfare goes beyond national borders. Every animal deserves a chance at a dignified life. The association operates a shelter in Tunari, Romania. A maximum of 140 dogs can currently be taken in and cared for there. We take care of dogs that have had an accident or are in need, and we constantly rescue animals from the so-called killing-shelters. In addition, we support and organize castration campaigns and maintain a Germany-wide network of around 100 foster homes.

On October 17th 2021 I saved 5 pigs from a small, pitch-dark and stinky cage and bought them free from the slaughterer (their cages have not been refilled with new pigs). Since then the "5 lucky pigs" live in paradise on the farm "Biohof Taunus" (south Burgenland). The 5 pigs urgently need help paying their monthly costs of 400€. Can you support them please?? Savethedogsbih est une association à but non lucratif basée en Bosnie. Nous sauvons des chiens abandonnés, maltraités ou enchaînés. Depuis plus de 6 ans, le fondateur Bruno Jelovic et son équipe s’occupent de plus de 1 000 chiens. Nos chiens ne sont pas enfermés dans des chenils, mais vivent dans nos ranchs où ils peuvent simplement être des chiens. Nous souhaitons nous développer et prévoyons de construire davantage de ranchs afin d’accueillir plus de chiens.

Im November 2017 wurde ProAnimal Österreich als gemeinnütziger Tierschutzverein gegründet. Wir arbeiten im Inland sowie auch im Ausland. Wir sind der Meinung, dass Tierschutz keine Grenzen kennen darf. Unsere Arbeit erstreckt sich über die Hilfe für in Not geratene Tiere und Tierhalter, sowie für nachhaltigen Tierschutz wie Aufklärung und die Unterstützung von Kastrationsprojekten im In- und Ausland.
