La situación de los gatos en la isla de Gran Canaria sigue triste y parece un sin fin. Nuestro objetivo es aliviar el sufrimiento de los gatos callejores y facilitarles una vida digna, con buena alimentación, castraciones y assistentcia veterenaria. Además tenemos muchos gatos en acogida, para encontrarles mas adelante una buena familia para siempre. Quien echa una manita a nuestros gatos en Gran Canaria?

Daniela Knezevic and Nadine Bartel lead the Kitten Safe House. They usually take on injured street cats, kitten thrown into the trash or abandoned cats. Try to look after them well and give them in good hands. They also look after feeding sites and catches the cats for castration. There are at least 60 cats in her house, all of whom need food, medicines, cat litter and medical care. This all costs money, you can help us to support Daniela and her crew!

Our volunteer team, in Germany and some animal rights activists in Bulgaria and Romania, has wholeheartedly dedicated itself to the rescue of distressed cats and dogs. Of course we are also active in Germany. Our most important tasks include mediation, castration of stray animals, advice and education on the welfare of cats and dogs as well as the collection of food, non-cash and donated money.

For the last 12 years we take care a large number of stray cats in a suburb of Athens, providing food, medical care, sterilizations, having neutered more that 500 cats. At this point, we feed daily more than 200 cats in about 25 spots. At the same time we shelter many cats with disabilities, coming from the colonies that we take care that could not survive on the streets. These cats are blind, deaf, there-legged, with cerebellar hypoplasia, urinary or kidney problems, stomatitis.
