After more than six years living in a hospital, I’m finally home in an adapted house (about time, right?). I have a high cervical spinal cord injury, rely on a ventilator, and need 24/7 support. Let’s just say that, in my case, independence is definitely a team effort. This group helps cover the costs of personal assistance, care, cleaning, support at home, and everything needed to keep this house a real home.
