The Caring Ripper

A group of people have created a solidarity wardrobe in Salamanca, Spain, based on the idea of Social Justice, fleeing from charity and seeking horizontality: me like you, you like me. The place is given to us for the moment, but we have to pay the expenses and that is why we ask for your collaboration. If there were the immense luck that there was little money left over, it would be invested in non-perishable food to distribute. Thank you so much For a more just and caring Humanity

The Solidarity Wardrobe of Salamanca

User Families of the project (People in vulnerable situations)

The Wardrobe is a space intended for the exchange of clothing, coats, blankets, shoes, and toys free of charge. We receive contributions of these items at C/ Jacintos, 7-11. Salamanca (Spain). We are working from 2020, creating a network of support and containment to meet the basic needs of families who cannot afford to buy these items. If you have, bring. If you need, come. The money raised will be used to cover the expenses of the Ropero: rent, electricity, water, and cleaning products.

Queremos dar mil gracias a quienes, desde hace tres años, sois teamers del Ropero.

Me encanta participar en El Ropero. Cuando estoy allí, siempre llegan un montón de personas a buscar cosas que necesitan o simplemente a charlar un ratito. No solo es un lugar de intercambio de ropas y mantas, también es un espacio de contención, de amistad y de cuidado. Hablamos, nos reímos y nos apoyamos entre todxs.
Es un espacio genial y agradezco poder participar en él.
