El Rebuzno Feliz

We are a tiny animal rescue to help donkeys and mules in the north of Spain (we are located in the eastern part of Asturias). We are not a sanctuary, but we help find good adoption homes for donkeys in need. We hope to be able to foster donkeys temporarily in the future. Always to prepare them for an adoption: foster, treat medical or behavioural problems, find them a home.

¡Hola Teamers!
(English below)

Nos parece bueno momento para poneros al día sobre El Rebuzno Feliz. Estamos aquí:
- Por fin (después de mucho papeleo y 3 meses de esperanza) hemos conseguido el inscrito en el Registro de Asociaciones. ¡A partir de ahora existimos oficialmente!
- El día 20 de febrero fue un día triste. Después de unos meses de cuidados intensivos tuvimos que despedir al mejor burro del mundo, nuestro querido Manuel.
- El día 8 de marzo fue un día feliz. Encontramos un nuevo hogar para Mara y Finn (los últimos caballos de El Paraíso del Burro). Ahora viven en un manado de 8 caballos en Siero.
- Parece que hemos encontrado una solución para Cora y Rebecca, las burras que todavía se quedan en Piloña, con ex-voluntarios de El Paraíso del Burro. Os seguimos contando...
- Han castrado a Río, un burro joven que ahora está listo para adoptar (es el guapo de la foto). Está en Llanes y sueña de una vida con sus congéneres.
- Estamos construyendo un establo para que podamos acoger a burros que lo necesiten nosotras mismas. Siempre para buscarles adoptantes.

Hi Teamers!

We thought this would be a good moment to give you an update about El Rebuzno Feliz (The Happy Bray). We are here:
- After lots of paperwork and 3 months of waiting, we finally managed to get registered as an association in Asturias. So from now on we exist officially!
- The 20th of February was a sad day. After months of intensive care we had to say goodbye to the best donkey in the world, our beloved Manuel.
- The 8th off March was a happy day. We found new adopters for Mara and Finn (the last horses from the Donkey Paradise). They live in a herd of 8 horses now in Siero.
- It looks like we have found a solution for Cora and Rebecca, the donkeys that still live with ex-volunteers of the Donkey Paradise in Piloña. We'll keep you posted...
- Río has been castrated, a young donkey ready for adoption (he is the handsome guy in the photo). He stays in Llanes and can't wait to live with his own kind.
- We are building a stable so we can temporarily take up donkeys ourselves when necessary. Always to find them adopters.
