AXARQUIA ANIMAL RESCUE is a registered charity in Southern Spain, run by volunteers and dedicated to saving lives and re-homing abandoned and abused animals. We have rescued and rehomed nearly 5,000 animals in the past 13 years and there are so many more that need our help. Our monthly kennel and vet bills are in the region of 5,000 euros a month, often more. We receive no government funding and rely on donations to enable us to continue our work. We need your help.

Please meet Blue Blue was rescued from an empty property . He was anxious, had liver problems contracted distemper and was very ill for a while . This is him fully recovered and happy This is what the retreat was established for - to rescue abandoned ,abused dogs and to find them new loving homes where possible . If the dog for whatever reason cant be re homed then their home is with us for the rest of their lives.

We are Torrox Animal Internation League (TAIL), a local charity/ refuge set in Torrox, Malaga. Our goals are to rescue and rehome abandoned and maltreated dogs and work to educate local community about dog care and neutering.
