Donkey Sanctuary Bonaire

The primary objective of Donkey Sanctuary is to offer a sheltered, protected life to all the donkeys of Bonaire. Our information about the lives and experiences of donkeys is also raising awareness amongst the local community, schools and tourists. When a report arrives about a live wild donkey in distress, volunteers are sent to the rescue. Donkey Sanctuary Bonaire is committed to providing a protected life for all donkeys on Bonaire. Information is also given about the living environment of donkeys to the islanders, at schools and to tourists. Donkey Sanctuary Bonaire currently houses more than 700 donkeys. They are provided with food, drinking water, medical care and have a lot of space and freedom.When we get a message that there is a donkey in distress,we always go for helping the donkey!For more information,FBpage or website
