We are an association formed by volunteers who love these little beings that one day sneaked into our lives. We help to feed and control colonies of cats in Barcelona, rescuing and giving up abandoned puppies and adult cats. We want to raise awareness about respect and responsible ownership as the only way to solve the dramatic situation of homeless cats. You can be part of this, cheer up.

Somos un proyecto que se inició en 1999 y se consolidó a través del registro como asociación sin ánimo de lucro formado íntegramente por voluntarios. Nuestro trabajo consiste en alimentar, esterilizar, cuidar y dar en adopción a gatos urbanos en Las Corts. Los costes en cuidados veterinarios, alimentación y manutención son elevados y asumidos por nuestra asociación pero la satisfacción al salvar y dar en adopción a uno de ellos también. AMIGOS DE LOS GATOS DEL POBLENOU-BCN Somos un pequeño grupo de voluntari@s que cuidamos y protegemos varias colonias de gatos en el barrio del Poblenou de Barcelona, pero también brindamos ayuda a cualquier gato que nos pueda necesitar, sea abandonado, perdido o en dificultad. Les alimentamos, damos asistencia veterinaria,hacemos control mediante el método CER, promovemos adopciones responsables, les construimos refugios artesanales,...procurándoles una mejor calidad de vida.

All the cats that live in the Feline Forest had been abandoned and forgotten. The more than 75 cats have plenty of space to roam, climb trees, run, play, as well as shelters and beds with blankets at home. We have built and fenced facilities especially for them, but this project is very expensive, so we need your help to get them going. Come and visit us!
