For more than 30 years, Scooby has been providing shelter to abandoned and mistreated animals. In the 90's we brought to light the atrocities inflicted on galgos (Spanish greyhounds). At present, we are the biggest shelter in Spain, currently homing more than 1000 dogs and cats and 200 farm animals. Our resources are very limited and we depend mainly on the donations. Ces chiens abandonnés, blessés, sont recueillis, soignés, puis nous leur trouvons une famille en France. Pour que l’horreur cesse, nous intervenons régulièrement auprès du Parlement Européen. Seul on va plus vite, mais à plusieurs on va plus loin. Notre objectif est de donner une vie la plus normale qui soit à notre petit Tom qui est condamné par une maladie rare et incurable : La maladie de pompe. Tom est soins palliatifs à la maison. Mauritius is a beautiful tropical island near Madagascar, popular amongst tourists. Unfortunately it has a darker side: It has about 250,000 stray dogs and the government catches and kills them in barbaric manner. We are a small NGO based in France, and in partnership with the NGO "The Animal House Rescue" on the island, we bring the most fragile dogs to Europe. 1 in 5 children in Yemen suffer from acute malnutrition (2.3 million total). 500,000 are at risk of death. Families do not have money for the hospital or for necessary food. Under Yemeni pediatric supervision we take care of serious and difficult cases.
