Animal welfare goes beyond national borders. Every animal deserves a chance at a dignified life. The association operates a shelter in Tunari, Romania. A maximum of 140 dogs can currently be taken in and cared for there. We take care of dogs that have had an accident or are in need, and we constantly rescue animals from the so-called killing-shelters. In addition, we support and organize castration campaigns and maintain a Germany-wide network of around 100 foster homes.

Our small association supports the Romanian animal rights activist Flori in Galati in the rescue, care and accommodation of appr. 400 street dogs. Flori is an animal rights activist with heart and soul. We help her with the care and placement of her dogs in a better life. Now a new shelter has to be built. Thanks to the tireless help of the sponsors and loyal donors, the dogs have been cared for so far. Only with your help can we manage to continue.

The animal welfare organisation Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. looks after around 1,500 dogs and cats in the northern Romanian cities of Bistrita, Baia Mare, Zalau, Fantanele, Busag and Cluj. The plight of the street dogs in Romania!., We have been dedicated for 9 years to help the animals in Giurgiu, Romania. There we currently take care of 260 dogs and 20 cats, all former emergencies, on our own large premises. All of them would not be alive without us. We take care of hundreds of emergencies every year, take in dogs and organize castrations, help those in need and prevent new emergencies - that's what we stand for!
