APANOT nace del amor que Karmen y algunos voluntarios sienten por los animales. Este es el principal y único motivo por el que decidieron dedicar su vida a los perros y gatos que se encuentran desamparados o que son víctimas de seres irracionales. Su labor y dedicación no es tarea fácil, diariamente cuidan y protegen a unos 85 perros y 30 gatos que conviven, sin ningún tipo de lujos, en el refugio que muy humildemente construyeron en Icod de los Vinos.

Unico albergue para felinos en la provincia de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, con mas de 300 (trescientos) gatos. No recibimos ninguna subvención pública o privada. Nuestra situación es desesperada. We denounce cases of animal abuse before the courts, where we pay for the trials. We help families with few resources to feed their pets. My name is Berta, in 2022 I managed to rescue the horse of my childhood after a long time trying to find her. she was found in very precarious conditions, today I am doing my best to recover her and give her the best life I could. She is already a 20 year old horse and has not an easy life. Every euro will go to give her the best possible life until his last day in this world.
