FCA helps to raise awareness of the place of dogs and cats in French homes. It operates in the Hérault region through actions to protect abandoned animals. We take in cats and dogs that have been abandoned or mistreated, with a view to re-homing them through the adoption process. We carry out investigations into neglect and/or mistreatment, and provide mediation.

Le refuge (association reconnue d’intérêt général) est une structure indépendante créée en octobre 2002, dont la mission est d’héberger, soigner, nourrir et apporter du réconfort aux trop nombreux chiens et chats abandonnés ou maltraités. Le refuge survit grâce à la générosité des adhérents, donateurs, parrains/marraines, au soutien indéfectible de la Fondation 30 millions d’amis, de la Fondation Brigitte Bardot et grâce aux manifestations ponctuelles organisées par l’association
