The Society for the Protection of Animals and Plants of Alcoy is a non-profit association whose purpose is the protection and defense of animals. We manage the Municipal Canine Shelter and there we provide abandoned dogs and cats with a roof, food and all the necessary care while they find a new home with family who provide them with the quality of life that they all deserve.

We are Potes i Arrels, the animal protective association of Muro de Alcoy, a town in Alicante. We were born with the aim of preventing the stray animals of our town from ending up in a dog pound, and we succeeded! We don't have a municipal animal shelter, but that does not stop us. We work with foster homes to avoid life behind bars as much as possible. For only € 1 a month, you can contribute to giving a second chance to those who have been rejected by others. Somos una nueva asociación de animales ubicada en San Pedro (Albacete), estamos construyendo un refugio y ayudando a todos los animales que podemos, pero necesitamos ayuda de todo el que pueda, parece que un euro no es mucho, pero entre todos podremos crear un buen refugio.
