An animal shelter located in Cantabria that offers the only opportunity for all the animals who have become homeless and whose fate, in most cases, would have been the slaughterhouse. After being objectified and exploited, we give them the least they deserve: respect, care, and lots of love. Awareness is crucial, so we educate people about the respect all animals deserve. AMIGAT es una asociación cántabra formada por voluntarios que rescata gatos callejeros, los acoge y cuida para entregar posteriormente en adopción. También esteriliza colonias callejeras con el programa CER (CAPTURA - ESTERILIZACIÓN - RETORNO) para paliar el problema de superpoblación felina que existe en Cantabria, donde cada día nacen muchos cachorros cuyo destino en la calle es morir envenenados, atropellados, enfermos, etc.

Adopta en los abedules, it is a non-profit association, we rescue animals in situation or risk of abandonment in Cantabria, kennels or their owners no longer want them. We rescue dogs of all kinds and many dogs that are not used for hunting such as setters, taps, pointers, etc. Thank you for helping us to cover the cost of food, residence to house our rescued, veterinary expenses, and the costs of taking dogs out of the kennels. The €1 monthly donation from this Teaming will create a fund to open, in a few years, the registered animal shelter on the assigned land. We plan to build adapted spaces (healthy, FIV, FeLV and quarantine areas), meet all legal requirements, and provide care, veterinary support and love with full transparency.
