Construye Mundo is an NGDO whose purpose is to promote the development of the poorest rural communities in Senegal by helping them in their initiatives and using local resources. 100% of the money raised goes to the projects, we are volunteers (NO EXPENSES). If you feel like it, check it out with our CHARITY TRIPS that combine tourism and visits to projects. Now we are schooling children in Salemata-Senegal: scholarships, school supplies and school repair (blackboards, desks, windows...)

Educating children at the Salemata school in south-eastern Senegal

Imagine this: you are a child from a settlement in Salemata in south-eastern Senegal and you have to walk 10 km every day along dusty dirt roads to get to school. You wear flip-flops, you have no school supplies, and you find the school without blackboards, with broken desks, cracked floors and walls, unusable windows and a broken roof.And yet you still try to go every day because it is your greatest dream... With your donation, we want to provide scholarships for the children so they can attend school, give them school supplies, and renovate the school. If they make that effort, we want to give them the minimum conditions they deserve.We have already installed drinking water, new blackboards, windows, and scholarships for 30 children for this school year, but we still have a long way to go. PENDING -Flooring and walls for six classrooms and the staff room, desks, a small canteen, repair of the well pump... You can help us ! Imagine their smiles...!
