We are a small self funding animal rescue in Murcia, Spain. We have rescue kennels and we are looking for funds to help us to feed the dogs we have in our care, provide them with medical treatment and prepare them for adoptions. We are all unpaid volunteers .

COLITAS Y BIGOTES

Help fund the daily maintenance of dogs at our rescue kennels or in foster care and provide for their veterinary fees. In order to travel for adoption, the dogs need passports, the cost of which includes vaccinations, microchips, blood tests and neutering.

C&B is a small rescue that started in Murcia in May 2017. Starting from nothing, we have been given a concession on a plot of land by the local Mula council to build rescue kennels. We have to date built 8 kennels with a capacity of up 25 dogs, with 2 quarantine pens. The kennels are built to a high standard to allow for the extremes of climate, each with a large patio. From a recent fund raising event we have built 3 large enclosed exercise areas for the dogs to let off steam. We are working on landscaping the area, to make it family friendly and inviting for people to come and help with the dogs, walking, exercising, playing and socialising.
From arriving at our kennels, the dogs have full veterinary checks, vaccinated, neutered and passports for travel prepared. We collaborate with several rescues abroad and to date we have rehomed happily over 200 dogs. Our Facebook page is Colitas y Bigotes, you can see our progress.
