An animal sanctuary that takes in animals that shelters and associations are unable to give for adoption, deeming them too fragile due to a long history of mistreatment, too wild, too old or too damaged by life. They are taken in, cared for and kept for life! The vast majority of these animals would have been euthanized because there was no other solution. STSMT is not entitled to any state subsidies or aid. Nous sommes une petite association de protection animale basée à Nimes dans le Gard. Nous recueillons beaucoup de mamans chats et leurs portées de chatons mais aussi des orphelins, des blessés, des sauvageons ou des malades... Cela engendre beaucoup de frais car les petits orphelins doivent être biberonnés, les blessés soignés, les sauvageons socialisés, et tous seront vaccinés, identifiés et surtout stérilisés. L'Hirondelle is a wildlife rescue center that has been in operation since 1998. L'Hirondelle takes in all wild birds and mammals in distress with the aim of treating them and then releasing them back into their natural habitat. Intervening in the Rhône, Loire, Drôme, and Ardèche regions, the center cares for 7,000 wild animals each year.
