Catland Javea

We are building a shelter for cats and kittens that would otherwise be living on the streets. Catland Javea is an official non-profit association. We are working with a registered veterinarian under a full zoological license. Catland will offer shelter to a maximum of 120 cats at a time. Cats that can live as house pets, will be offered for rehoming. Those that cannot, will remain in the shelter under a no-kill policy. More information: catlandjavea.com

We’ve got a big update from the build of Catland Jávea…

All of the containers have now arrived and been placed on-site! Catland is really advancing. The interiors are looking amazing. Still more work to be done until this phase is completed but, we are so proud of the work. Thank you Tossal de Xábia for your professionalism.

These containers will make up the core of our shelter:

Office
Bathroom & utility area
Vet clinic
Quarantine zone
Nursery
Hospital
And the corrals for the cats
It’s taken an awful lot of work to get to this point, and we are so grateful for the support you have given us the whole way.

Take a look at the pictures to see how the site looks now… it now is starting to feel real! We’ve still got a long way to go, but every step like this brings us closer. If you’re able to donate or share our cause, it would mean the world. We’re building this together, as a community project, not funded by the government —for the love of animals.
