La Protectora de La Nucía es una organización de voluntarios donde intentamos curar y dar refugio a animales abandonados o maltratados y les buscamos un nuevo hogar. Casa de Postas is a small animal shelter located in the town of Almonte, which is supported solely by donations. Within an agricultural environment close to the Doñana National Park, our rescued share the refuge with their caretakers living in semi freedom. The podencos are our passion. Defensa Animal Palentina es una asociación de defensa animal que trabaja sin refugio y con casas de acogida. Para nosotros su ayuda es indispensable para ayudar y rescatar a los animales. No tenemos tampoco subvención, así que dependemos de los donativos de la gente y de que los animales tengan padrinos o madrinas que los ayuden, no sólo económicamente, sino también a encontrar un hogar definitivo. Lapalomatriste is a Sanctuary that is especially dedicated to pigeons. It is the home of hundreds of rescued feral pigeons. Many of them are brought to us wounded or are disabled for life. We also take in and handrear squabs and youngsters who fell out of the nest. Join our group and help us to sustain the Sanctuary and continue to give a forever home to more birds in distress. More than 70 cats that have been rescued from the streets live in the Feline Forest, with many spaces to run and play, trees to climb, as well as in home beds and shelters. We have buildt and fenced facilities especially for them, but this project does not receive any funds from the goverment, only particular donations, and that is why we need your help to continue to care for them.
