Atenem 2000 consultes i alliberem 250 aus de mitjana anual. Birds Friends

The Association, in addition to being a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center that contributes to biodiversity, promotes eco-social causes. We work on the conservation and protection of the environment. We organize birdwatching outings in Barcelona to raise awareness about local wildlife and its challenges. Additionally, we conduct campaigns against poaching and illegal trafficking, as well as conservation projects such as building and installing nest boxes in urban and forested areas. These boxes help to decline species recover. We also develop activities such as therapy sessions with the elderly, environmental education in schools, courses on birdlife and its role in the ecosystem, and training on how to help injured animals. Furthermore, we offer workshops and visits to centers for minors, people with functional diversity, homeless shelters, and more.
