Many single-parent families live a reality that often goes unseen. Managing a household alone means taking on care, work, and finances, often with limited resources and significant challenges in balancing everything. This situation can lead to difficult circumstances. At the Single-Parent Families Association, we provide close, supportive guidance so that no family has to face these challenges alone, while also advocating for our rights before public authorities.
We want to ensure that more families can access close, basic support throughout the year. With €1 per month, you help a family receive: employment guidance to find a job, legal advice, support with applying for grants and benefits, emotional support, and help to cover basic needs in difficult moments. Our goal is clear: that no single-parent family is left behind. Making this possible comes with costs: rent for our space, activity expenses, materials, and occasional financial support (such as glasses not covered by public programs or medications not included in the public healthcare system). Currently, we are a team of three people—one part-time—working to support as many families as possible in the best way we can. That’s why we need you to make this possible.
