Asociación Tacaná, Formación y Desarrollo (F&D) is a NGO that develops educational projects in Central America, Guatemala and Nicaragua. We finance study scholarships and support psycho-pedagogical developments at the Luis Amigó House in Quetzaltenango (Guatemala), which is a shelter for girls and young victims of domestic violence. We also finance development projects in Nicaragua

The students/residents of the Luis Amigó Home in Guatemala finish their baccalaureate around the age of 18 and need help to continue their university studies while working. Tacaná F&D Association, which supports studies at the Home, selects each year one or more of the graduates who wish to continue their studies and show the ability to do so. They are paid tuition and monthly fees, school supplies, uniforms and transportation.
