It is estimated (according to the Deafblind indicators study) that there are currently around 38,000 people with deafblindness in Catalonia. The Catalan Association for People with Deafblindness (APSOCECAT) works to guarantee their rights and improve their well-being and that of their families through leisure activities and programs, psychosocial care and support in daily life.
