We are committed to the welfare of stray, abandoned and abused cats. We provide shelters, medical care and the love that they desperately need. However, most important is neutering. At DogsforU our main focus is on helping homeless dogs in Mallorca who would have no hope: large breeds, especially German Shepherds, old, sick or injured dogs, or those who have simply run out of time in the pounds and face euthanasia. Our mission is to save their lives, heal them in body and spirit and find them loving forever homes. We do not receive any local government help, just from our lovely supporters and volunteers. ONE EURO IS A CAFE SOLO for you but its a life line to the dogs.

ONG dedicada al rescate de perros y gatos abandonados en las perreras mallorquinas, donde la mayoría están al borde del sacrificio. La asociación se hace cargo de todos los gastos, los vacunamos, castramos, realizamos analíticas, alimentamos etc. Funcionamos con casas de acogida hasta encontrar adoptantes definitivos. Neben der ehrenamtlichen Hilfe in unserem Tierschutzverein, haben wir einen Notfalltopf für an FIP erkrankte Katzen eingerichtet, deren Besitzer finanziell nicht so gut aufgestellt sind. FIP ist inzwischen heilbar, man muss aber möglichst umgehend nach der Diagnose mit der Behandlung beginnen. Hier kommt unser Verein schnell und unbürokratisch zu Hilfe und stellt die finanziellen Mittel und das notwendige Know-how für eine rasche Erstversorgung zur Verfügung.

In unserem Katzenhaus in Wolgast leben im Schnitt an die 100 Katzen. Ungewollte, Kranke und Alte bekommen hier ihr Bettchen auf Lebenszeit. Alle anderen Katzen werden nach Möglichkeit vermittelt. Wir haben immer wieder hohe Tierarztrechnungen durch Kastrationen, Impfungen und Notfälle.
